Please Read the Following Information Before Filling out the Application
Thank you for your interest in a rental at Nova-Ro. The Nova-Ro apartment complexes are owned and operated by the Nova-Ro Corporation and were created by the Rotary Club of Novato. Below is an Application For Occupancy for the Nova-Ro Apartments. Please complete the entire application.
Current monthly rents (subject to change before date of rental) are:
- Nova-Ro I: 20 studio apartments @ $1000; 4 junior one bedroom @ $1200/month; 6 one bedroom @ $1400/month
- Nova-Ro II: 56 one bedroom @ $1400/month
- Nova-Ro III: 40 one bedroom @ $1400/month
- (Occupancy by any second tenant is $250/month additional)
- Note: Elevators are available at Nova-Ro I and Nova-Ro III. Lifts provide upper level access at Nova-Ro II.
Please indicate your preferences for Nova-Ro I, II, or III as well as upper or lower unit(s) on the application.
When preparing your application, please be aware of the following residency requirements:
- *All residents must 62 years of age or older.
- *All applicants must have a sponsor, who will agree to provide care, make arrangements for care or make alternative housing arrangements should the resident become unable to care for himself or herself. In addition, the sponsor must be willing and able to guarantee the legal and financial commitments of the rental agreement. The sponsor should be a generation younger, living within a one hour driving radius of Novato, generally defined as Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Francisco or San Mateo counties.
No pets of any kind are permitted. (Service animals are permitted only as required by state law). Nova-Ro is a totally smoke free environment.
We recommend all applicants visit the complexes before submitting an application. There are no apartments for viewing prior to such time as a unit is available.
Upon review and acceptance of your application, an interview with the applicant and sponsor will be scheduled when a preferred unit is about to be available. Applications are considered in the order they are received. Most of the time, for most units, there is a waiting list that may vary from a few months to many months. If you have further questions regarding the rental process, please enclose your questions along with your application.
